UNDESIGN ERIE'S REDLINE

WHAT IS ERIWE?

ERIWE is an interactive, community-building project created to bring the national “Undesign the Redline” program to Erie County to help us address the effects of Redlining and the effects of Racism that was acknowledged as a public health crisis by the Erie County, PA government on September 8, 2020. UNDESIGN THE REDLINE. 

OUR MISSION

The mission of ERIWE is to reduce impacts of Racism and Redlining in Erie County and help catalyze Erie’s great potential through community engagement, education and policies with measurable outcomes.

WHAT IS REDLINING?

Redlining is the once federally sanctioned practice of racially-motivated disinvestment in some urban neighborhoods. See the videos and links below to learn more.
